Well, The first week of spring break is almost over, and I'm way behind on the things I promised myself I would do. So far the only thing I accomplished was submitting a picture to the color scheme challenge on dA, reading homework and a bunch of research in the University of Washington.

Long Author's Note about Chapter Six of Eight Men:

I feel as though I have to apologize. That Which Is Defeated is the only chapter in Eight Men that will deal with the First World War, and it is not even doing so directly after the small slice on the Eastern Front. So, I got a very nice review from Fortune Maiden on FF.N, who asked me how I do all of the research for Eight Men. Mostly, it involves asking questions along the lines of "So, wait, if you're relaxing in 1811 would you go drink coffee, or head to a tobacconists?" and finding the answer. However, I do have a fairly set routine for research.

So, I think I'm in love with Franklin D. Scott, or at least his article "Bernadotte and the Throne of France." Why aren't more history papers written like this?
